Author's Notes: Stole the title from a song that fits this whole thing slightly well. This was supposed to be sent to the MGS cliché fic challenge, but since I loved this thing way too much to ruin it with a blatant and random sex scene, I decided to turn the whole fic into this.
Summary and Warnings: So, in some ways, this is connected to that "Violence" fic o' mine, but you really don't have to read that to actually 'get' the whole idea of this fic. Anyways, Cunningham actually acts as a human for more than five seconds, because, well, because I want it to be like this! Just kidding, is just that, he sees things around him and he really don't think they are right. This mentions rape, but never really shows it (thank God! I don't think I will be able to handle another horrible 'rape description' like that one in Violence...). And the platonic love in this is ridiculous.

[When was his mama going to see him again? He was tired of those dumb scientists who took care of him. Why couldn't mama take care of him? He had asked her this, but she had said she just couldn't, and he didn't understand that. That wasn't a reason as to why she couldn't be with him all the time... was it?

He sighed as he idly played with the green, plastic army men sitting on his desk. These didn't provide him with entertainment anymore. He wasn't five. He was ten years old now. Even all the books in this library he was forced to stay in bored him, since he had already read them all.

He frowned as he looked over to the photo on his desk; a picture of his mama and the man she said was his papa. They looked happy... but what made him frown was that he had never seen the man except for in this photo. Mama had said he had gotten unhappy with her and left. Why? Why would he be unhappy with mama? She was so nice...]

[His thoughts were interrupted when he heard the door open. He looked over and immediately smiled. It was mama!]

[Snake and Alek have just finished some barbeque after a snowball fight and bath. It's getting dark though, and Alek's enjoyed spending some manly bonding time with his friend.

[John had recently found that infamous jungle room, and had immediately went in to do some training, which he hadn't done in quite awhile. He had let himself get a little flabby, and in result, he was loosing his breath and his stamina much quicker than he remembered. He had been in this room for hours; just sneaking around and trying to get back into shape.

He also made sure to eat the things he catched, so he could burn those calories and keep himself moving.

After those few hours, John is currently sitted outside the room, cold, wet, and shirtless. He had gotten a few cuts and bruises, some of them still slightly bleeding, but nothing too serious. His hair was hanging over his face, dripping wet. He sighed, shaking the water out of his hair, and taking out a cigar, attempting to light it.

OKAY, AFTER DEALING WITH SOME THINGS I HAVE DECIDED THAT I AM GOING TO COMPLETELY REVAMP capslock_mgs TO MAKE IT EVEN MORE AWESOME. AND I NEED YOUR HELP.

1. NEW LAYOUT (AND PROFILE). IF ANYONE HAS SUGGESTIONS FOR A LAYOUT, OR KNOWS A GOOD ONE, LINK ME TO IT! I'M ALSO THINKING ABOUT INCLUDING A CRACKTASTIC HEADER, SO I'M TAKING SUGGESTIONS FOR THAT, TOO. IT NEEDS TO BE OFFCIAL ART HOWEVER OR THE MOONSPEAK PEOPLE WILL SEND THE POLICE ON US. This one, in the way of things, recycles from the very best. The lobby lights flicker and dim, and a single wiggle of blue-white electricity carves itself out of the air, then another, and another, until it amasses as a ball several feet in diameter.

At some point he left the room to look for a place to relieve himself, he entered into a dark hallway and slammed the door shut. Being too drunk to even care he began to pee on a nearby wall.]

((Technically, it isn't her birthday. But it is Elisa's. ...Ursula doesn't like balloons much. If she's ever going to get the damned thing off, she'll need 10 different people within the nexus to say the words "Happy Birthday" to her. Just don't expect a warm response from her in return.))

[Without anymore bombs to diffuse, Raiden's decided that it's time to go through this place and build up his dog tag collection. So far he's only got some from one Old Snake, a Johnny and Novel Snake... not nearly enough. So if you happen to be wandering around the hallway, expect to be held up by a determined Raiden. If you're someone who clearly doesn't have dog tags, he might just stop you for a chat.]
